Cloud Light Technology Limited (“Cloud Light”)-A Lumentum Company-designs, markets, and manufactures advanced optical modules for datacenter interconnect and optical sensors for automotive applications.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, Cloud Light was founded in 2018 as a spin-off from TDK Corporation. It has facilities strategically located in the region, including research and development centers in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Southern China, and in South East Asia.
Cloud Light has a solid technical foundation with 100+ filed patents and is supported by a strong multicultural research and development team with 18+ years of optical product design and manufacturing experience.
Our development team is composed of >30% PhD and >50% master’s degree holders in optoelectronics, material science, photonics integration and manufacturing technologies. Our technology experts push the technology envelope while maintaining perspective with manufacturing and quality demands.
